About this coffee

The cherries are carefully hand-picked and meticulously sorted to ensure only the best are processed. Smallholder farmers predominantly cultivate the Welisho and Kurume varieties. Drying takes place on raised beds over 18 to 20 days, depending on the climate and drying stage, with layers kept between 2–8 cm thick for optimal airflow and consistency.

ORIGINAL INFO

The washing station

Perched at 1980 masl near Gedeb Town in the Gedeo zone, Banko Gotiti is celebrated for coffees with bold floral aromas and vibrant stone fruit notes. This station sources cherries from around 780 smallholder farmers, each tending to approximately 2 hectares of land at elevations ranging from 1950 to 2100 masl. At the helm is Ranger, the station's dedicated owner, who ensures every step of the process reflects a commitment to quality and precision.
